The Trans Canada Trail will be a shared-use recreation Trail that will wind its way through every Province and Territory. It will be the longest Trail of its kind in the world, spanning approximately 17, 898 kilometres.
Taseko River Kayak Route

Tatlow Falls is a famous spot championed by competent kayakers. The river has canyons with Class III+ and IV+ rapids. Watch out for the falls.
Harrison Mills

In this area is situated the Kilby Provincial Park along the Harrison River and the Weaver Creek Spawning Channel. During the winter months, the region is home to over 1,000 bald eagles and graceful trumpeter swans. The Weaver Spawning Channel sees well over 30,000 salmon and sees over 76 million salmon eggs per year.
Joffre Lakes Provincial Park

This circular hike offers glaciers, rough mountain peaks, serene lakes, and cold untouched streams. A vantage point at the bottom of Matier Glacier gives light to the monstrous Joffre Peak and the enormous Slalok Mountain.
Queen Charlotte Islands

This area has some excellent biking, few inclines, and no traffic stops. This area is accessed by ferry from Prince Rupert of Vancouver. Visitors can also be airlifted in for the ultimate wilderness experience.
Powell Forest Canoe Route

This route is suitable for even novice canoesman. The entire trip takes between five and seven days to complete and has a five light portages. The total trip is 65 km (40 mi).
Gulf Islands

On Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands has scenery that makes every cycle down the rural roads besides the beaches tremendously enjoyable. Bikers will encounter some uphill portions through a narrow single-file-only road. Hornby Island is also close, offering plenty of fat-tire riding.
Sunshine Coast Trail

Climb to mountain ridges that give a spectacular view of Georgia Strait. Travel from Saltery Bay to Desolation Sound and stop for a bed and breakfast stay half way through the full-distance hike.
Stein Valley Nlaka'pamux Heritage Park

Awash in aboriginal spiritual history, this park contains more than 107,000 hectares of backcountry. Cable cars here carry visitors across cavernous waterways full of trout and wild salmon. Over 50 different species of mammal can be found here.
West Coast Trail

The West Coast Trail is an internationally renowned 75 km (47 mi) historic backpacking route along sandstone cliffs, waterfalls, caves, sea arches, sea stacks and beaches that compose the stunning coastline of south western Vancouver Island.
Vancouver's North Shore Mountains

This area is the "birthplace of freeriding". The North Shore Mountains offer the Old Buck trail close to the entrance to Mount Seymour Provincial Park, the CBC trail, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, and the trails on Mount Fromme and Cypress Mountain, of which, the latter has a chairlift to help bikers ascend the mountain with their gear.
