Built in 1926 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, this traditional-style course on the south slope of Vancouver was redesigned by Canadian Architect Thomas McBroom in 1994. Langara is the oldest City-owned course in Vancouver, and anticipates designation as a certified Audubon sanctuary as it is a significant habitat for birds in an urban setting.
