Orpheum Theatre When this theatre opened in 1927, the Orpheum was the biggest and most lavish vaudeville theatre and opera house on the west coast. It has been totally restored to its original splendour and is now the home base of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame, many high-profile concert acts perform at the Orpheum.
