The Arthritis Society’s Walk to Fight Arthritis presented by the makers of TYLENOL® is about walking and fighting back. By registering and raising pledges, you’ll be helping to fund leading-edge research and essential programs that support those living with arthritis.

In one way or another, everyone has been touched by arthritis - a debilitating and painful disease. Whatever your connection, we all want the same thing - a cure. Walk, collect pledges and join millions of people in the fight against arthritis.

There is no cost to register but participants are encouraged to raise at least $100 in pledges. All participants who raise $100 or more will receive an official Walk to Fight Arthritis t-shirt on event day.

City Chase is the World’s Largest Urban Adventure Series, with 9 local events in Canada alone. City Chase requires teams of two to exhibit teamwork, resourcefulness, determination and the ability to make decisions on the fly as they search for physical, intellectual and wacky ChasePoint challenges scattered in unknown locations throughout the city. Focusing more on the journey than the destination, participants will learn about their city, their teammate, and themselves as they think hard, play hard and laugh hard.

The Brewskidaddle is a charity fun run featuring 5 km (3.1 mi) and 2.5 km (1.6 mi) courses for adults and a 1 km (0.6 mi) kids' run. Celebrate reaching the finish line at the After Race Party. Held at the Rugby Cricket Club, this Oktoberfest celebration boasts a merry mix of traditional German food, beer and live music.

Light The Night is The Leukemia & Lyphoma Society’s annual walk and fundraising event – a night of solidarity and hope. An event in support of people battling cancer and paying tribute to those claimed by it. Every Autumn, friends, families and co-workers gather in cities across North America and walk in twilight, holding illuminated balloons- red for supporters, white for survivors and gold to remember ones lost. Funds raised support vital cancer research and patient services in their communities. Join us and take a step towards a cure.

Athletes have been running this marathon since 1970 and it has become Canada's largest marathon. The mostly flat, paved, scenic course is spectator-friendly and passes near areas such as Kitsilano, Stanley Park, and English Bay. Course marshals and water stations also line the course. The marathon starts at Queen Elizabeth Park and finishes at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
