This festival gives Vancouver's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community the chance to gather with friends, family and supporters in a fun and positive environment. Events during the festival include a youth dance, the Terry Wallace Memorial Breakfast, the Vancouver Pride Parade and the Sunset Beach Festival.

Held over 20 nights in December, the Carol Ships Parade of Lights welcomes public participation both in the parade and as spectators. Each evening, a parade of approximately 50 boats sparkling with Christmas lights floats through the night on routes that include Vancouver's inner harbour, False Creek, West Vancouver, Port Moody and Deep Cove. Shoreside events such as bonfires, carols, music and refreshments can also be enjoyed on certain dates at Dundarave Park, Panorama Park and Barnet Marine Park.
