Aug 20 to Sep 27 Bard on the Beach was established in 1990 to provide Vancouver residents and tourists with affordable, accessible Shakespearean productions of the finest quality. The plays are staged in Vanier Park on Vancouver's waterfront, in open-ended tents with a spectacular backdrop of mountains, sea and sky.
The 2008 season will feature titles such as "Twelfth Night", "King Lear", "The Tempest" and "Titus Andronicus".

Aug 20 to Aug 22, Aug 25 to Aug 29 Tonality is a workshop designed for small to medium businesses (10-50 employees) as a team-building activity, using music as the catalyst for creative problem solving. It is engaging, thought-provoking and fun! All participants will be involved in playing a variety of percussion-type instruments, creating a story line, and performing their pieces at the conclusion. The parallels to communication and cooperation in the workplace are highlighted, along with individual roles and styles.

Just because the sun’s gone down doesn’t mean the competitions over. Throw the gear in the car, grab some friends and head over to TheatreSports® to check out some real comedy contenders. Summer records could be broken, tides may be turned, and the heat will rise as these improv jocks take on formal theatre with a sweat-stained comic vengeance. TheatreSports® combines the best elements of stage and sport delivering a laugh-packed evening for everyone.
TheatreSports® - The Summer Games runs every Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30pm and Friday & Saturday at 8:00pm & 10:00pm. Tickets Wed thru Friday are $16.00 & $12.00. Saturday tickets are $18.00 & 15.00.
