TBA The BMO Pacific Spirit Run is the largest trail run in Canada, and part of the Vancouver Sun Run Series. Proceeds from this event support dementia research and care initiatives through the Tapestry Foundation.
Dementia is a growing concern. By 2031 more than 3/4 million Canadians will be diagnosed with the disease. Living with it, or caring for someone who has it, takes a lot of courage and support. Money raised through registration fees, pledges, and sponsorship dollars support research and care initiatives that will benefit the many lives affected by this disease.
The run will be held on Saturday, May 10th. 2008.
Over 2,000 runners and walkers will hit the trails at UBC's Pacific Spirit Park. The event offers 10km, 5km and 2.5 km routes for all levels.
